Edward CaamanoVice President of Geoscience
Ed Caamano has 36 years of industry geoscience experience focused on exploration, appraisal and development projects. Ed began his career with Conoco in 1981 and over an 18 year period held various technical positions throughout the U.S. and internationally including the Gulf of Mexico, San Joaquin, Williston, Rockie Mountains, Natuna, and Western Desert basins.
In 1998 Ed joined Pioneer Natural Resources in the Buenos Aires office where he focused on near field exploration and development projects in the Neuquén basin. Shortly after returning to the U.S. Ed was appointed exploration manager of the company’s newly acquired Tunisia asset where over the next 10 years the team grew the Ghadames basin asset to a $1B value through exploration and development drilling.
Ed has a Master of Science degree in Geology from Rutgers University and is a member of AAPG and HGS.
